This heavy-duty and rugged car charger connects directly to your cigarette lighter adapter in your vehicle, then connects to any mini usb Motorola, Nextel or Blackberry phones. 

It has a heavy duty strain relief connections so the wiring wont short out with heavy use.  It also has a 2 stage LED light that lets you know if it is rapid charging or trickle charging.  The built in smart chip ensures it will not overcharge your cell phone battery.

It also comes with and extra long 10 foot heavy duty 4mm cord that is built to exceed all OEM specifications.

With its rapid charging it will fully charge even a extra capacity battery in around 2 hours.

We found this to be a great quality unit.  The only negative may be the length of the cable.  When we used it in a sports sedan that has the cig adapter close to where the phone was stored the cable was almost too long.  When used in an SUV though, the extended cable was great.

This Blackberry Original Leather Holster works great for the Blackberry Curve series phones.  The Holster is made of a nice, soft lambskin leather exterior that looks and feels nice with a ratcheting swivel belt clip permanently attached to the back.  It comes in 6 different colors: black, burnt sienna, ecru tan, white, apple red, & pink.  This gives you a variety of options so that you can have a color for any occasion.  Another great feature of the case is the built-in proximity sensor, which can recognize when the phone device is in place and automatically shuts off the screen in order to help maximize battery life. This technology also allows you to choose different notification settings for incoming calls, emails and other functions based on whether your device is in or out of the holster.

This is a good quality unit.  The leather is soft but tough and the belt clip is strong.  If a holster is your choice for carrying your blackberry, you should definitely consider one of the OEM holsters.

One way to get more out of your Blackberry battery is to carry it in a holster with proximity sensing technology.  The technology uses a magnet to put the Blackberry phone into sleep mode when it is inserted into the holster.  As a result, battery life is increased substantially when the unit is not in use.

While shields or cases provide good protection for Blackberry phones, they will not provide proximity sensing technology.  Regardless of whether you will be carrying your phone in your pocket, on your belt, or elsewhere, using a holster with proximity sensing is a great way to increase your battery life.
