Motorola has released details of its upcoming S9-HD Bluetooth stereo headset.  It looks to be a great follow up to the original S9.  The S9-HD is enhanced with high definition audio and earbuds that reduce background noise and improve comfort.

The S9-HD also adds the following -

• SRS WOW HD software to help improve 3-D sound perception.
• Ear buds help isolate outside noise
• Ported design, helps channel music to your ear canal

Motorola had hoped to release the S9-HD during the second quarter of 2008, something that obviously didn’t happen.  We are seeing an expected availability date of 9/18 now though so expect it in September.

If you feel like you are having to charge your phone way too often this Extended Capacity Battery with Cover is a great way to get more talk time in between charges.

This aftermarket battery offers 1400 mAh of power, providing almost double the talk and standby time the original standard battery.  Because of the power difference the extended battery is thicker, which is why it requires a different battery cover. 

If you need additional talk and standby time and don’t mind a small increase in the size of your phone this is the way to go.

We found this to be a great quality unit.  The only negative may be the length of the cable.  When we used it in a sports sedan that has the cig adapter close to where the phone was stored the cable was almost too long.  When used in an SUV though, the extended cable was great.

This is a great cover for those who do not want to add bulk to their phones, but still want to keep it protected from scratches.  The silicone covers are molded to fit your Motorola RAZR2 series phone just right which means that it comes with all the correct openings and cutouts as needed. 

The manufacturers state that the silicone is made of a durable, environmentally-friendly material which does not attract dust. 

The cover does not come with a belt clip for those who want to have their phone on their hip, but is great for protecting while in a purse or pocket because it does not have the added bulk of a clip.  The silicone sleeve also comes in a variety of colors: light pink, light blue, blue, clear, and black.

The Motorola Razr V3 snap-on cover is a great cover if you want something that doesn’t add bulk to your phone, but protects against scratching the outside of the phone. 

It is not padded, so if you drop your phone it won’t protect it from a fall, but it will protect from daily wear and tear.  The cover is easy to put on and easy to remove, but is secure while it is on your phone. 

It comes in a variety of colors with or without patterns on it.  The cover has cut outs for the phone ports and camera so the phone is fully usable while in the cover.

The Motorola KRZR K1m pink leather snap on case is a fun addition to your phone.  It only fits the K1m, version of the KRZR and is not compatible with just the K1.  The manufacturer describes - 

It is specifically designed for the K1m, with opening for the camera, front screen and music controls on the front.  This cover does not provide a lot of protection if you drop your phone but it does protect it from scratches.  Overall, it’s convenient, can be taken on and off at will and looks nice with the soft feel of leather.
