Universal Sanyo Swivel Belt Clip Kit

Sanyo Belt ClipIf you don’t like cases but would like to add a swivel belt clip to your phone, this is a great product.  It applies a small button on the back of the phone with adhesive, and has a detachable swivel belt clip that can go on and off the button.

The kit includes two adhesive buttons, a swivel belt clip with a quick release and a vehicle vent mount. All the parts that come with the kit are black and durable.Universal Sanyo Swivel Belt Clip

The Belt Clip itself also allows you to look at your phone without removing it from the clip with the built in hinge.  The one consideration with this type of carrying solution is that the button, once attached to the phone is difficult to remove.  Once removed, it cannot be attached to the phone again.  On the plus side, the hinge is a great feature and many swivel leather cases with the plastic button on the back are compatible with the clip.  So if you have a good case with a plastic button on the back and just need to replace your belt clip, this one is worth a look.

    Car Kits

Since bluetooth has become standard on most phones, car kits have dropped in popularity.  It used to be all the OEM’s such as Nokia, Motorola, and Samsung had a full intall car kit with antenna connector for almost every phone they made.  These days, the OEM’s make few if any full intall car kits.  So are car kits a thing of the past.  Yes and no.  There are still car kits available for some phones like Sprint Nextel and some Blackberry phones.  These are made by aftermarket manufacturers but are good quality and work great.  The one aspect of the car kit that is still popular though is the antenna boost the kit would give to the signal strength.  While you may not be able to find a full install car kit for your phone, if you need a boost to your signal, there are plenty of signal amplifier options available.  Some require a connection to the phone, others dont.
